When Should I Move to a Smaller Size?

Explains when a looser fit, reduced body contact or loss of support as swelling subsides may call for new measurements.

When Might a Different Size Be Needed?

As recovery progresses, swelling subsides and your circumference measurements may change. A garment that fitted closely at first may therefore become looser in later weeks.

You may need new measurements if the garment is noticeably loose, no longer fits closely or has lost its supportive feel.

Do Not Choose a Smaller Size Without Advice

Choosing a smaller size simply to increase tightness is not appropriate. A garment that is too small can concentrate pressure at specific points instead of distributing it evenly.

A change of size should be based on all the garment's key measurement points. Make this assessment with your healthcare team.
